Answer Me This Podcast – The funniest thing I have found so far in podcast land. Weekly podcast from this trio of clowns, completely free!

Audible – Amazon company that does most books in audio format so that you can listen in you ‘dead time’ i.e. in the supermarket, on the commute etc. Can easily get through a book in a week.

Fotolia - great site for very cheap images, useful for websites, graphic design, well most things actually!

IMMD – Stands for It Made My Day – I get a heartwarming email everyday summarising the great moments that made other people’s day – makes me smile

Kiva – A great charity site that just keeps giving. Lend Kiva $25 (about £12.50) and choose a small enterprise in a developing country to contribute to. They repay the loan when they can and you can get the money back, or reloan to another enterprise. Brilliant.

Lolcats – funny pictures and videos of animals…just coz

The Oatmeal - Creative and cutting humour from a very talented designer and observer of things we all see but don’t notice!

Quotes Daddy -  for when I need a saying to sum up a feeling, or some lighthearted philosophy this does the job

Stumbleupon – Great for when I want to avoid work but don’t want to completely waste it…a couple of stumbles refreshes me, ready to work again.

Stero mood – For when you want music to suit your mood, go to stereomood and let their playlists inspire you. I have discovered so many great artists with this site.

TED Talks – My daily dose of talks from great minds around the world, that remind me of things more inportant than what is going on in my little head!

VegWeb – My go to website and ipod app for vegan recipes and ideas. Their tools are great and sister sites, and blogswith videos have really helped me adapt to a new lifestyle choice.

Vimrod -  daily dose of nonsense, need I say more?
